About Us
WRNU is Rutgers Newark’s on-campus radio station! Founded in 1967, we report on the latest in social issues, news, music, politics, culture, love, and much more from students’ voices. We play your favorite music from Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeat, Pop, Dance, Latin & More!
WRNU also highlights the best of Rutgers Newark’s very own, supporting aspiring artists, performers, and creatives on our various platforms. Join our organization and attend our in-person events and meetings to connect with fellow students, learn more about our work, and have fun!
